S Korean laborers urge revision of unequal SOFA

Peace Korea
Labor organizations in south Korea on Mar. 25 held a press conference in which they called for the revision of unequal south Korea-U.S. "status of forces agreement," according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People.

Speakers deplored the reality in which south Korean workers can not make any protest though the U.S. forces in south Korea impose penalty on them for the reason that the negotiations for defence cost sharing failed to go on smoothly.

They stressed that the unequal "status of forces agreement" (SOFA) should be revised for the sake of elementary working conditions.
