Greedy Hwang Kyo An hastens UFP's end

The south Korean internet newspaper Minjok Ilbo on Friday carried an editorial titled "The more undisguised Hwang Kyo An's greed of power gets, the nearer the end of United Future Party comes".

The editorial referred to the fact that Hwang, representative of the "United Future Party" (UFP), on Mar. 25 put outright pressure upon Han Son Kyo, representative of the "Future Korea Party (FKP)", for his aides' failure to be nominated as FKP candidates for the "national assemblymen".

When Han resigned from the post of representative, displeased at it, Hwang formed the FKP leadership at his will, the editorial said.

It said that Hwang served under Chun Doo Hwan's regime as a prosecutor in charge of public security to be at the head of torturing and oppressing the force for democratization movement, the progressive force, and under Park Geun Hye's regime as "prime minister" to completely outrage human rights and democratization.

It is inevitable that the people loving justice and democracy and detesting injustice and fascism are condemning Hwang and the UFP force, it noted, adding it is as clear as noonday that the more undisguised Hwang's dirty greed of power gets, the nearer the end of the UFP comes.
